Blogging Tips and Guidelines:
Every time you add a new post, people from around the world can “see” what you have written! In order to make sure your posts are safe, respectable, and grammatically appropriate please follow the following guidelines:
Safety:- Don’t use your last name when writing a blog.
- Don’t give out ANY information about yourself, phone number, address, etc.
- Don’t be specific with your information. For example, say, “I like to play soccer,” not “I play soccer for the Webster Pirates.”
- Do not post pictures of anyone without their permission.
- Be considerate of others and their individual thoughts, don’t judge.
- When writing comments, don’t just say, “That’s great!” Take the time to read others thoughts and respond with a well written comment, such as, “I agree with you, I think we should be able to access the computer more.”
- Do not write comments that might be considered offensive by others. (Remember, your writings can be viewed by anyone in the world!!!)
- Use correct grammar and spelling.
- Use of abbreviations and shortcuts is not appropriate for a blog, save that for texting!
- Present yourself in a manner that will bring you and your family pride for what you’ve written.

ReplyDeleteWell that's pretty easy because i already seen vlog which is basically what your writing but saying with words and is on video. But its pretty simple is just writing an opinion about a topic and writing it on the internet. Sometimes its about reviewing or critiquing stuff, expressing an opinion about what this person saw. They probably to do this because they just feel sad and lonely and they hope someone agrees with then or make a debate about it. Or they want to express there opinion the world. I just hope this blogging doesn't make the teacher suck the fun out of it.
I don't know much about blogging but I did see the movie Julie & Julia and while I was watching it I wanted to jump to a computer and start typing about anything that popped into my mind! I like the idea of blogging and I would like to have my own blog, too. I like the idea that anyone by just blogging something that someone on the other side of the world likes and reads can change the world, slowly, but it can change it. Also, I like how you can keep a moment last forever by just blogging about how you felt. Many DETAILS! Making it fun for others to read or even yourself later on...

I don't know much about blogging, but I find it interesting. I see blogging as an opportunity to see other people's opinion and learn more about others. Having a class blog is really interesting, because it is another way that we can express our opinion and learn. Blogging may effect the way I write, since I'll have to be more gramatically correct. I'm excited about being able to post my perspective and be able to share it with the rest of the world.

I find blogging a great opportunity to express myself and learn about other people's point of views. I think that having a class blog is a great idea because we can share our thoughts in a different alternative other than facebook or myspace.
ReplyDeleteI know that a blog is a place used like a journal, but the only difference is that anyone around the world can see it. I like the idea of blogging because sometimes people have ideas that they want to share with the people around them or even to the whole world and this is the easiest way to do it. In a blog you can write whatever you want (clearly with some restrictions), so maybe someone feels free to express any emotion, opinion, event or any other thing that comes to their mind. I think it is good to have a class blog that anyone can see because we might influence other people to do it too and they might compare their thought with ours. By blogging, my writing might become more detailed. If I had a blog one day, it will be about expressing myself there. I’m glad that until now, my classmates have liked the idea.

The much that I know that you have told us is that you can write what ever you want, do it about anything, and do as many thing as you like.And also everyone from areoun the world could see everything in you blog.I have to learn more now.
ReplyDeleteI don't know very much anything about blogging. Blogging for me is like a site were people share ideas or something they have in mind, the fact that my class has a blog and that our teacher is reading what we write, makes me type in a more decent way that I would write in any other page online. If I could have a blog it would be about a specific band or musician in which people would write their opinions of their songs or their personality,etc. I'm not very exited about blogging since I don't really care about other people's opinions, it's not something that will affect my thought over something so easily.

ReplyDeleteHey people! Well honestly I didn't know that much about blogging until now. All I knew was that it was a place where people wrote about their opinion on things and talked about anything they wanted. Something that I didn't know was that anyone in the world could see it. I think that is pretty cool because it would be fun to see another person's perspective on my way of thinking. I am really not that exited about having a blog because it has never been an interest of mine to have one, but maybe with time I'll start liking it. I think it would be better to have a blog when I'm older because then I'll have experienced more things in life.

I think blogging is a good idea because people can express their opinions and we can also learn with others opinions. If I had blog it would be about different things that I like such as: dance, fashion, some sports, celebrities, funny things and other stuff.

ReplyDeletethis is a first for me i have never used a blog before. i think having a class blog will be kind of fun i wouldnt mind if the world saw it because it would be another opportunity for the world to find out informaton about different school and suff like that. it wont affect what ill write because you also have to be careful in what you write. if i had my own blog it would have to be about nature or music. i really lve findng out new things about nature. but music is my life. the mst excitng thing i cat wait is to see what other people have to say and the pictures they will put up and also the videos and maybe funny moments. i checked out ablog about music and i gound a very cool website called we7 you get t listen to free music i love it im going to start usng it because it looks cool....i love blogging why didnt i thnk of it befor
ReplyDeletewell i really dont know about blogging that much but it sounds kind of interesting and cool and fun!though i don't feel that comfortable that my pictures will be seen in public around the world but if its just writing and putting pictures that im not in them well it will be cool. If i had a blog it'll be a MICHAEL JACKSON BLOG haha nahh<---or maybe but it'll mostly be of random things.soo anyways i'll keep checking for cool blogs.!

ReplyDeleteBlogging is making entries on a "journal" that can be viewed by others. It is generally used as entries for travel sites, sports, maybe gossip, anything you can think of. If you're interested in any blog, you may subscribe to it and follow the entries made.

i have never blogged before. But i know anything you put in the web stays there. be careful of what we write. it feels great to have a class blog now we can post to you our reviews of the class and tell you our doubts. this is a great opportunity to express ourself in a safe way

it is exiting to have a class blog!! i know only so much about blogging, im not an expert! i know you can write without limits and express yourself!! im looking foward to reading about everyones opinion, because im open minded and i enjoy knowing what other people think. I would love to have my own blog! it would probably be about home made things, i like arts and crafts.

ReplyDeleteI really don't know that much blogging expect that you write or given a topic you learn about it or know about it and then you respond to it. i think that having a class blog is very cool because that way you can see what your classmates think abotu a topis and that way you can get to know them better.
i rea;;y dont know anything about blogs but looks like fun. I mean its myu first time. Its looks really cool to blog. Everyone ion the world see your answer and anything. The most exciting about blogs is that any people or person on the world can see what you right and can opinion about it can argued about it. Also that by blogging you learn things that you may or may not know. Blog is fun but you need to be wisely of using it...
